Accused students and complainants are entitled to the assistance of a Campus Advisor throughout the disciplinary process. A Campus Advisor is a member of the Rutgers community who can help the student or complainant navigate the disciplinary system. Advisors can:
- help community members understand the disciplinary process
- provide support
- help complainants and accused students prepare for disciplinary proceedings
- accompany complainants and accused students to meetings and disciplinary proceedings
- help students prepare appeals
If you are a student or complainant interested in the assistance of a Campus Advisor, refer to the list above and contact the individuals listed to find an advisor available to work with you.
Any member of the University community (faculty, student, or staff) is eligible to become a Campus Advisor. Individuals interested in becoming a Campus Advisor should complete an interest form.
